We have different systems in place to make sure that your property is properly protected….
AND we double check that our systems are always working as best as possible.
Our sixfold security system includes the following:
1. Safety fencing around the perimeter of the property
The first line of defence against any burglary is always to make it more difficult for perpetrators to get access to your property. We followed the same rule of thimb and erected safety fencing around the perimeter of the storage unit.
2. Proper lighting of the self storage property
The second line of defence against burglary is to light the premises properly. To add to the fluorescent lighs attached to the walls of the units, we erected high wattage flood lights at key points on the property to brighten up the critical areas.
3. Cctv surveillance of the property
The third line of defence is a system of video surveillance of the property, This is done on the one hand to capture any intruders on video. On the other hand it is done to make the work of the security guards easier during the night time.
4. Multiple Security guards patrolling the premises
During the nights 3 security guards are employed to constantly watch and patrol the premises – ensuring movement on the property and the necessary surveillance to quickly detect any problems. They are trained to handle problems as they arise.
5. Movement of guards monitored by gps tracker
Security guards have specified rounds they have to make. At different points on their route they have to ‘check in” with an electronic device. At the same time their every movement is monitored and recorded throughout the night – using the same GPS tracking device.
6. Armed response Security company contracted to help
An external armed response security firm is contracted in to patrol the storage facility at 3 random times during each night – at the same time monitoring the security guards to see if they are doing their work properly. And they are on standby in case of any emergency.
